Holy Cow! Strong Red Egyptian Ale was inspired by an ancient Egyptian beer recipe and Hathor, goddess of love, hospitality, & beer. This red ale is made with pomegranates, dates, and New Zealand malt & hops. Complex, malty, and tangy.

We brewed this red ale for GABS 2018. It is flavoured with pomegranate and dates which were used in brewing beer in ancient Egyptian times. The name refers to Hathor - godess of hospitality, love and cows!
