We brew British & European style craft beer. Our mission is to produce fresh, locally-supplied beers made from the finest ingredients available. The beers we make are free of chemical preservatives and (except for the honey ale) vegan. (Hops, the low ph of beer and alcohol are all natural preservatives).

Our traditional beers include IPAs, pilsners, a stout and a lager. Our unusual beers include a German-style sour beer made with karengo seaweed, a golden ale with pohutukawa honey, and a porter with toasted coconut. We use New Zealand-sourced ingredients and we manufacture under HACCP.

We use New Zealand Gladfield malts and New Zealand grown hops and many other New Zealand-grown ingredients to celebrate the marvellous qualities and flavours which are part of our local landscape.
